On Road to Yarrada

On Road to Yarrada

Yarrada is a beautiful beach, in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh (also often called as Vizag). Yarrada is cut off from the rest of coast by the city by two beautiful hills. It is about an hours drive up and around the hill to reach to this beach.

Pola Rao, is the owner of a small Tig and Arc Wielding institute by the outskirts of the city. In one of my trips to this city, I met him, and in discussions, we come to realize that we are related, it was too complicated to remember, but in short: His uncle is also an uncle to me. He enjoys his metal work, and he over a year of working on a scrap bike (Royal Enfield’s Bullet), he made it work, and look great! This is his bike that is show cased in the picture, on the route back from Yarrada Beach. The lights behind are from the factories close by, and not sun as many may assume. Was an amazing road, and an amazing beach. A good companion like Pola Rao, was a lot more than I could have asked for this scene.
